Meet Me On The Equinox

Took me FOREVER to find a link that would play the new Death Cab for Cutie song featured in New Moon.

Here are some crazy sexy Native Americans that are bound to be the talk of the town in Twilight New Moon.


I would like to introduce the new werewolf cast (from left to right): Alex Meraz(playing Paul-HOLY FRIJOLES!), Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley), Bronson Pelletier (Jared) and Kiowa Gordon (Embry Call). Hot stuff huh!?!


Where has this movie poster been all my life!!! The BEST movie poster for Twilight so far. It has not yet been confirmed whether this poster was actually released by Summit Entertainment or by some really awesome fan. Either way I hope they have more like this.

Twilight Heaven

I think I've died and gone to Twilight heaven...

I know I'm a little late with the fanatical Twilight reporting but I honestly can't keep up with the craziness that surrounds this movie. Everytime I turn around there's a new site that has a plethora of Twilight paraphernalia. So this is why I'm just now posting the link to MySpace's page for Twilight. A fellow fan elightened me to the fact that they have some serious Twilight business going on for that webpage(including a special showing of the movie at your school). It has everything your little pitter-pattering heart could ever desire.

Calling all "Twilighters"

Well here's your big chance to stand in never ending lines and hang around doing nothing for hours. Where you may ask...on the set of Twilight New Moon as a movie extra. Yup! A fanatical teenage girl's wet dream come true. Don't worry, I'm not knocking it. It would all be worth it if you could just catch one tiny glimpse of any cast member from Twilight. Just think of it! Robert's hand, foot, forearm just might be within reach. No need to fantasize any longer ladies; now's your chance. However, be warned there's a good chance you might not even get to be in the same vicinity as the stars, but isn't it worth the "what if?".

Twilight's Moment of Truth

I have to be honest, I’ve been dreading this blog since I finally got to see the movie with Professor H on Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m completely torn on how I feel about this movie. On the one hand, I love the fact that one of my favorite books has come to the big screen. I no longer have to fantasize about what the characters look like; they’re right in front of me acting out my favorite parts. There’s Edward with his snow white skin and dazzling eyes and Bella with her shy looks and witty remarks.

But on the other hand, actually hearing the dialogue brings me to the sad realization that this book has to be THE cheesiest thing I’ve ever read and by far the worst written. I feel so terrible for having these conflicted thoughts but there it is. Sorry, no way to sugarcoat it.

Here are some of my favorite and not so favorite moments:

#1 I love the scene when the Cullen family walks into the cafeteria and Bella sees Edward for the first time.

#2 The scene in Biology when Edward gets his first whiff of Bella-- not a very high moment for the film. Not only did he look like he was about to regurgitate all over his biology book but his acting, in my opinion, was a little overkill. I guess it just didn’t seem that exaggerated in my head when I read that part in the book.

#3 I love when Esme and Carlisle try cooking dinner for Bella and Rose has a little, pretty-girl temper tantrum. Freaking hysterical! (Side note: Super cute the way Edward looks totally embarrassed by his family’s display of kookiness when they meet Bella—Kind-of like a normal guy would. Good Job Robert!)

#4 Another scene that’s really terrible is when Edward shows her just how different he is in the sun. All I saw was his hairy dazzling chest. Ew, gross.

There are many more scenes that I both love and hate but nothing is going to stop me from buying it the first day it comes out on DVD.

Feel free folks to leave a comment and tell me what you thought of the movie. Love it or hate it I have to say its still an intriguing story. Can’t wait for New Moon.

NOVEMBER 21ST

I must give my condolences to all Harry Potter fans as today marks the death of one release date but the birth of another. This was once the happy release date of the much anticipated Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. However, it is bitter sweet. Twilight, as we all know, has taken it's place and although there are mixed reviews I am confident the film will do well. I have not seen the film yet (for shame I know...but wait I have a good reason) because I have promised Professor H I would wait for her so we can sqee together. EW.com give a good overview of the reviews the film's been getting thus far. I promise to give my own review once I've seen it. Until then I'm battling the internet and trying not to run into spoilers.

It's all about Twilight

So the past few blogs have been about Twilight and I apologize to all the Harry Potter and Star Wars fans but man oh man is Twilight on a roll this week.

I would now like to present you with...drum roll please...the very best Twilight movie trailer Ever!!!



I swear after watching it I got goosebumps. That trailer had me feeling the intensity of Bella and Edward's relationship. 2 words...FREAKING AWESOME! and the music was much better in this trailer too.

TWILIGHT in the HOUSE!!! Can't wait til November 21st.
